For different reasons, hiring freelancers has become quite popular. So where do I find HubSpot freelancers?
Ask others for recommendations
You might start off asking friends/colleagues or someone else in your industry if they have any recommendations. If they can’t give you a name, maybe then can give you a place where to search for freelancers.
HubSpot partner directory
All HubSpot partners are listed in the partner directory. You will mostly find agencies here, but I know some freelancers are HubSpot partners as well (=listed in the partner directory).
There are a couple ways to find freelancers on Inbound.org:
- Post a job ($250 for 60 days)
- Start a discussion where you write about what you need. Join the right groups to find the right people (e.g. join “HubSpot Designer Forum” or “Web Developers & Designers” if you’re looking for a Web designer / developer)
- Search for freelancers yourself. Joining the right groups is also essential here, if you’re looking for a web developer – join a web developer group and follow the discussions to see who’s contributing to the discussions. All of them are not freelancers, but some of them are.
Without any major research, I’m going to say that Upwork is the biggest freelancing portal out there. Upwork is a merger between oDesk and Elance. Whatever you’re looking for, you will find a freelancer for your project on Upwork. As on every freelance portal, you will find freelancers with hourly rates between $3 and $3000.
Other portals where you can find a HubSpot freelancer
There are a lot of different portals where you might find freelancers. Some examples are Freelancer, Guru, PeoplePerHour. There are also some niche portals where you might the right freelancer, e.g. toptal and Crew.
I suggest you read this article about things you should consider when you’re about to hire a freelancer online.
