The Beta HubSpot Landing Page Template
I feel like a lot of HubSpot users don’t even know there is a marketplace where you can purchase templates. Also, the marketplace is quite inadequate (they are currently updating/re-building the whole marketplace), there’s e.g. very limited space to show how the template ‘works’ and what you can do with it. That’s why I decided to write this ‘series’ – showing you what kind of features the Adepto Digital templates have.
About the template
The Beta Landing Page Template is a very simple template in every way. It includes a full size background image, Image module (meant for the logo), headline area, text area, form, social sharing buttons and a ‘footer’ where you can add e.g. a copyright statement. This template is built for quick signups – like signup for a beta version, where you only need an email field. However, I know that in some cases other information is a must as well – so you can still use the form with more input fields. If you have more fields in your form, make sure you set ”Just email input field?” to No in order to get the right formatting. But remember, this template was built for (and looks best with) just the email input field.
How to customize the template
Below is a screenshot of how the template looks in the inline editor. The module names should be explanatory enough, but I will go through them just in case.
(from top to bottom)
Social Media icon color: Use the color picker or add HEX/RGB code to change the color for the social media icons.
Social Media icon hover color: Use the color picker or add HEX/RGB code to change the hover color (i.e. when you move your mouse over the icon) for the social media icons.
Add Facebook/Twitter/Linkedin/Google+/Youtube Link Here: Add links to your social media pages, e.g. https://twitter.com/adeptodigital . The icons are only displayed if you add a link.
Header Font: Drop down menu with 34 different font alternatives. The font you choose will be applied to all H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 headings.
Page Text Font: Drop down menu with 34 different font alternatives. The font you choose will be applied to all the text, except the headings.
Form button background color: Use the color picker or add HEX/RGB code to change the form’s button background color.
Form button text color: Use the color picker or add HEX/RGB code to change the form’s button text color.
Form input border color: Use the color picker or add HEX/RGB code to change the form’s border color when the input field is active.
Form placeholder color: Use the color picker or add HEX/RGB code to change the form’s placeholder text color (the text inside the input field before you click it).
Form input text color when active: Use the color picker or add HEX/RGB code to change the form’s input text color (the text you write in the input field).
Just email input field?: If you only have one input field – choose Yes, if you have more than one – choose No. As I mentioned in the beginning of this post, this template is meant for easy sign-ups where you only need the one field – so it will look the best with only one field, but if you choose No the styling changes so you are able to have more than one input field as well.
Form label color: Use the color picker or add HEX/RGB code to change the form’s label text color (the text above the input field).
Form error: Use the color picker or add HEX/RGB code to change the form’s error color (error text / input field’s border color).
Select a background image: Select background image for the page. The image will be set to cover the whole screen.
Logo: Image module meant for logo or other image.
Main Content: Rich text module where you add the main text.
Form: Choose the form you want to use.
Footer Text: rich text module, so you can edit the text in any way you want or leave blank if you want to.
That’s it, very simple! If you want to view the live demo, please click here. If you want to view the template on the HubSpot Marketplace, please click here.
